Dating back back to the 13th century. The castle was originally built by the O’Mahony clan and strategically positioned on a narrow headland to defend against sea invasions. The ruins are perched on the cliff face overlooking a beautiful, secluded lake.

The site, often requiring a scenic walk to access, offers an unforgettable experience of raw, unspoiled nature, providing panoramic views across the wild Atlantic.
